We proudly present DS….

DS Food srl was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of the Dr Schär group. Together with Nutrition Point ltd our task was to sell DS - Dietray Specials - gluten free products in great Britain and Europe. The deep-frozen gluten-free products were an instant hit. We quickly became established in Italy’s supermarkets and hypermarkets and thanks to our continually expanding product range are one of the favourite gluten-free brands available. But Italy was not enough. DS products are now available in Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary... And we do not stop our expansion.
DS Food Srl merged with Dr Schär Srl on the 1st January 2008, and since then DS is a Dr. Schär Srl brand.

To ensure a successful future we collaborate with a research laboratory at the AREA Science Park in Trieste, one of the most important European research centers – founded by Dr. Schär in 2003. More than 1000 scientists are working on innovative solutions for the different ranges, for example the biotechnology. For DS this means: new pulses through new ways in the research, product quality and product diversity, and of course product safety.
