Smilies: gluten-free, breadcrumb-coated pastry pockets with a hearty filling

These well-known pastry pockets are a big hit in Italy. Preparation is quick and easy and they are a treat for both young and old!
Ingredients: Tomato and mozzarella filling (48)% (tomato pulp (35%), rehydrated buttermilk,
mozzarella (20%), cornstarch, margarine (non-hydrogenated vegetable fat and oil,
salt, emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids and citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; acidifier: citric acid), salt, beetroot juice,
parsley, oregano, basil), rehydrated buttermilk, cornstarch, water, eggs, nonhydrogenated vegetable oil, rice flour, rice starch, cornflour, potato starch, nonhydrogenated vegetable fat, sugar, salt, apple fibre, lupin protein, yeast, thickeners: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and xanthan gum, acidifier: citric acid,; natural flavourings.
Storage:
stored at –18 °C 18 months after the date of production. Consume max. 24 hours after the product has thawed. Do not refreeze after the product has thawed.
Preparation:
Pan: Cook for 3 minutes on each side in plenty of oil.
Oven: approx.15 minutes at 220°C
