Rules of the "DS AROUND THE WORLD" competition

Competition organiser
The organisation responsible for the competition is the DS brand of the company Dr. Schär GmbH, Winkelau 9, 39014 Burgstall, Italy

Duration
The competition will be published on the homepage www.ds4you.com from 1 June 2008 and will run until 15 October 2008.

Purpose of the competition
The registered participants have from 1 June to 15 October to use a form to submit their photo (criteria: DS product and recognisable holiday destination e.g. beach, Eiffel Tower etc.) online at www.ds4you.com. The photo will also be judged during this period. Pornographic images and images which depict or glorify violence or infringe applicable legislation in any other way will be disqualified from the competition. Each photo submitted will be checked before publication and will only go live once this has taken place. The photos will be ordered based on when they were received i.e. the most recent will appear first.
The users also have the option of judging and commenting on the photos. The 10 photos that have got the highest number of points at the end of the competition (15 October is the deadline for submitting photos and also the final opportunity for judging) will win a prize.

Who can take part?
Anyone who submits a photo as a digital file via the Internet portal www.ds4you.com by 15 October can take part. Employees of Dr. Schär GmbH and their relatives cannot take part.

Who decides?
The users of www.ds4you.com will select the winners from the photos submitted. The visitors to the site therefore determine the order of the winners. Any visitor to the site can take part in public voting. Each participant in public voting can only vote once.

Labelling of the photo
The photo submitted will be equipped with the information provided during the user registration required for participation (user name, e-mail address) during the file upload and will be saved in this manner in a special database. The information will be entered into the appropriate fields of the form. The participants agree to the use and storage of their data for the purposes of this photographic competition.

1st PRIZE: Juke box
2nd - 10th PRIZE: DS cool box filled with dry DS products

Allocation of the prizes and notification of the winners
The winners will be informed by e-mail and will be given appropriate instructions on receiving their prize, which should happen within 180 days of allocation.

Data protection regulations
Personal data will be collected from the participants to allow them to take part in the competition and so that the prizes can be sent to the winners and, if requested, so that they can be sent the newsletter. Personal details will not be forwarded to third parties. The holder of the data processing is Dr. Schär GmbH, Winkelau 9, 39014 Burgstall, Italy. Participants who wish to exert their rights as per article 13 Italian Decree Act no. 196 dated 30 June 2003 may apply to the abovementioned body responsible for data processing.
